What A Trip

Such a Cool clip

Here's the description
"This little clip documents In the summer of 1968 three men - climber and surfer Yvon Chouinard, climber and skier Doug Tompkins, and champion skier Dick Dorworth - set off from California in an old van to surf, ski and climb their way down to the southern end of Argentina where they met up with a young British climber, Chris Jones. Their goal was to climb a mountain that had been climbed only twice before: Cerro Fitz Roy.

In this excerpt, watch as Yvon, Doug and Dick score waves in Peru. First they surf a left point break in Chicama and then shoot the pier in Cerro Azul. "

thanks jamie robinson for the heads up

No Horse Racing For Us

Today is a holiday here in Melbourne celebrating the Melbourne Cup, which is our most popular horse race.
Although I had a win the other day, we decided it would be in our best interest to go exercise.
So we ventured out to the Dandenong National Park and walked/ran the 1000 steps.
The 10oo steps is a bush walk with 1000 steps (obviously) scattered through the walk. On the way up it took us 19.5 mins on the way down it took 14.5 mins. Really good workout and start to the day

Here's some history behind the hike

And Ralph and TC at the top

Happy Halloween

So yep we carved our first pumpkin over the weekend, sorry for delay but Ive had some technical difficulties getting the update up

We didn't get any trick or treaters but since we went out and watched Paranormal Activity 2 (really scary) till late I'm guessing was the reason.

Happy Halloween where ever you are
